Workshop for TEZTOUR agency’s network with participation of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of DSR Sri Lanka H.E. Udayanga Weeratunga took place on 20th October, 2010 at the conference hall of Danilivskaya Hotel. Every year by tradition since 2007, all agencies of TEZTOUR have come to that hall to meet H.E. the Ambassador, got some news about Sri Lanka, ask questions about the way of selling Sri Lanka, what recommend to their tourists and what to inform them about the country.
During 1.5 hours Mr. Weeratunga shared his experience and impressions about Sri Lanka, its culture and traditions, history and sights, as well as told some interesting stories about tourists and gave advises to the young managers. Special attention was given to visa formalities as the passport validity for tourists had been extended for 6 month. The Ambassador mentioned that Russian and Ukrainian tourists are still the most welcome guests for Sri Lankan hoteliers.
All participants got posters with Sri Lanka views of flora and fauna.

20 октября 2010 года прошел семинар для сети агентств ТЕЗТУР с участием Чрезвычайного и Полномочного Посла ДСР Шри Ланка Е.П. Удаянга Виратунга в зале гостиницы «Даниловская». По традиции, каждый год в течение вот уже 4 лет, агентства ТЕЗТУР собираются в этом зале послушать г-на Посла, узнать новости о Шри Ланке, задать интересующие вопросы о том, как продавать туры, что советовать туристам, о чем предупреждать путешественников и т.д.
В течение полутора часов г-н Виратунга делился своими впечатлениями о Шри Ланке, о ее традициях, культуре, истории, достопримечательностях, а так же вспоминал случаи из жизни туристов, давал советы молодым агентствам. Особое внимание было уделено визовым формальностям, поскольку срок действия паспорта для въезда в страну был увеличен до 6 месяцев с предполагаемой даты возвращения из поездки. Господин Посол отметил, что российские и украинские туристы всегда остаются самыми желанными гостями в отелях Шри Ланки.
Все участники получили в подарок плакаты с изображением Шри Ланки, ее флоры и фауны.
Семинаром с компанией ТЕЗТУР открывает сезонную серию семинаров по Шри Ланке.
