On 12th November, 2010 second workshop of winter series took place at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow in cooperation with tour operator Spectrum. Around 70 agents took part in the event. Workshop was attended by Etihad Airways.
The Ambassador of Sri Lanka H.E. Udayanga Weeratunga told about the country, main itineraries, heritage, cuisine, visa formalities, informed participants about the current situation in Sri Lanka Tourism industry.
He shared his personal experience and narrated island ancient legends to the participants. His speech was accompanied with a photo presentation of Sri Lanka.
Then Etihad Country Manager Russia Mrs. Natalia Gorunova and her assistants made a presentation of Etihad Airways. Small drawing took place afterwards and some presents from Etihad were handed over to lucky agents for their excellent knowledge of airlines services.
Chief Development Officer of Spectrum travel company Mrs. Olga Shmeleva together with her assistant Ms. Maria Borisova informed agents about winter programs and hotels accordingly. Afterwards, small raffle was hold and lucky devils got presents from Spectrum, such as Ceylon tea, spices etc.
The event was concluded with a Sri Lankan lunch and Ceylon tea ceremony. Agents feel some taste of Sri Lanka and got to know how to choose the best Ceylon tea.

12 ноября 2010 года вторая рабочая встреча зимней серии семинаров прошла в Посольстве Шри Ланки в Москве. Встреча была организована совместно с компанией Спектрум — трэвел. Около 70 менеджеров туристических агентств приняли участие в мероприятии. На семинаре так же присутствовала компания Etihad Airways. Г-н Посол поделился интересными историями из его собственного опыта общения с туристами, а так же рассказал о древних легендах, которыми овеяна история Шри Ланки.
Посол Шри Ланки Е.П. Удаянга Виратунга рассказал об основных туристических маршрутах, достопримечательностях, кухне, визовых формальностях для туристов, проинформировал присутствующих о текущем положении дел в туристической индустрии Шри Ланки. Речь г-на Посла сопровождалась красочной фото презентацией острова.Затем Генеральный Менеджер компании Etihad Airways г-жа Наталья Горюнова и ее ассистенты выступили перед собравшимися. По завершению презентации для всех участников встречи была проведена небольшая лотерея и самые внимательные слушатели получили полезные призы от компании Etihad.
Директор по развитию компании Спектрум — трэвел г-жа Ольга Шмелева и ее ассистент г-жа Мария Борисова проинформировали менеджеров агентств о зимних предложениях компании и базовых отелях сезона. В заключение был проведен розыгрыш призов, где самые удачливые везунчики получили полезные призы от компании Спектрум — трэвел: цейлонский чай, специи, абонемент в спа-салон и т.д.
Завершилось мероприятием праздничным обедом в шриланкийском стиле, где гости смогли попробовать кухню острова. Присутствующие получили возможность не только продегустировать настоящий цейлонский чай, но узнали, как правильно выбрать настоящий цейлонский чай.
