Having made a thundering impact in Saint Petersburg the Mega Tourism Road Show has now come to Moscow to continue the saga. Today, the promotional events were conducted at two locations. Firstly, the promotional activities at the MITT – 2013 travel and trade exhibition held at the “Expo Centre”, Moscow and secondly the cultural show “Sri Lanka Night” held at the concert hall of the Department of Main Administrative Services to the Diplomatic Corps.
To promote tourism industry of the country, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow, participate in the annual MITT – Travel and Trade Exhibition and this year too for the 10th consecutive year with the support of the SLTPB the exhibition stand of Sri Lanka has been arranged. This year Sri Lanka will be represented by 15 leading travel and tour companies of the country with giants of the industry such as; Aitken Spence, Andrews Travel, Jet Wing and John Keells also participating.
MITT is the Russia’s leading and largest travel exhibition. With over 3,000 participating companies and 197 destinations, it is the key meeting place for the industry and an opportunity to catch up with colleagues and clients. In addition, it enables participants to increase awareness of their destination, gain a real feel for the Russian travel market and gauge demand for their services. 2013 marks MITT’s 20th Anniversary, held since 1994, the event has become the main industry forum for the travel professionals. During the year 2012 tourist arrivals from Russia and CIS countries marked as 51746, which is an increment of almost 64 per cent to the arrivals in 2011 (2011 – 31592). Active participation by Sri Lankan Travel and Tour Companies in MITT in Moscow — Russia, UITT in Kiev – Ukraine, KITF in Almaty – Kazakhstan could be seen as the major attributes to noticeable increment in the tourist arrivals.

Сделав громоподобный удар в Санкт-Петербурге Мега Туризм Роуд-шоу в настоящее время приехать в Москву, чтобы продолжить сагу. Сегодня рекламные мероприятия проводились в двух местах. Во-первых, рекламные мероприятия на MITT — 2013 путешествий и торговли выставки проводятся в «Экспо Центр», Москва и во-вторых, культурное шоу «Шри-Ланка ночь» состоится в концертном зале Отдела Основных административных услуг дипломатического корпуса.
Для содействия индустрии туризма страны, в посольстве Шри-Ланки в Москве, участие в ежегодном MITT — Путешествия и торговая выставка и в этом году тоже в 10-й год подряд при поддержке SLTPB выставка стенд Шри-Ланки был устроен , В этом году Шри-Ланка будут представлены 15 ведущих туристических и экскурсионных компаний страны с гигантами отрасли, такие как; Айткен Спенс, Эндрюс Путешествия, Джет крыла и Джон Keells также участвует.
MITT является ведущим и крупнейшим туристическая выставка в России. С более чем 3000 компаний-участников и 197 мест, что является ключевым местом встречи для промышленности и возможность догнать с коллегами и клиентами. Кроме того, он позволяет участникам повысить осведомленность о своей назначения, получить реальное чувство для российского рынка путешествий и оценить спрос на их услуги. 2013 знаки 20-летие Митт, состоявшейся в 1994 году, мероприятие стало главным форумом промышленности для профессионалов путешествий. В 2012 году туристов из России и стран СНГ отмечен как 51746, что является прирост почти 64 процентов к 2011 прибывших в 2011 году (- 31592). Активное участие Шри-Ланки Туристическое компаний в выставке MITT в Москве — России, UITT в Киеве — Украина, KITF в Алматы — Казахстан можно рассматривать в качестве основных атрибутов заметного приращения в туристских прибытий.
