On 17th March 2011, Ambassador Weeratunga & Mrs. Weeratunga invited all Sri Lankan participants, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau officials and tour/travel operators in Russia to participate special presentation and dinner at the Ambassador’s residence. More than 50 guests participated. At this reception Ambassador explained the current situation of tourism industry in Sri Lanka.

17 марта 2011 года в Посольстве Шри Ланки прошел прием для всех представителей туристической индустрии, журналистов и авиакомпаний, на котором присутствовало более 50 гостей. В тесном кругу друзей, Посол сообщил о планах Шри Ланки на будущее. Особенно радостно г-н Посол отметил выход в предстоящем сезоне на рынок авиакомпании ШриЛанкан Эйрлайнз и Аэрофлот, которые поставят свои прямые регулярные рейсы из Москвы в Коломбо с октября 2011 года.
