[:en]Farewell to Head of Chancery Mr. Lal Kumara Gamage

After a successful tenure Mr. Lal Kumara Gamage , returned to Sri Lanka and as a symbol of appreciation H.E the Ambassador hosted a farewell reception at his residence with the participation of the Embassy staff members. Mr. and Mrs. Gamage were warmly welcomed by the Ambassador and expressed his appreciation to all the efforts offered for the betterment of the Bilateral Diplomatic Relations as well as other functions of this Mission.
Defense Advisor, Group Captain A.P Payoe , Rohan Direckz and Irena Chernegova congratulated HOC and expressed their appreciation for the support Mr. Gamage extended in all activities and tasks. Mr. Lal Kumara Gamage briefly mentioned the times past in Russia at this Mission and thanked the past and present staff members, especially H.E. the Ambassador for the assistance and guidance extended to make the tenure in Russia a successful one.
Mr. Lal Kumara Gamage and Mrs. Dayasri Gamage were presented souvenirs by the Ambassador.

Г-н Лал Кумара Гамаге успешно завершил свою деятельность в должности Главы Канцелярии Посольства и вернулся в Шри-Ланку. В качестве признания заслуг Г-на Лал Кумара Гамаге Его Превосходительство, Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол ДСР Шри-Ланка в РФ Удаянга Виратунга дал прощальный прием, куда были приглашены все сотрудники Посольства. Его Превосходительство, Г-н Посол горячо приветствовал Г-на и Г-жу Гамаге.
Его Превосходительство дал высокую оценку работы Г-на Гамаге, направленную на улучшение двусторонних российско-ланкийских дипломатических отношений, а также поблагодарил за содействие в реализации других функций Посольства.
Советник по военным вопросам, Г-н А.П. Пайо, секретарь Г-на Посла Р. Дирекц, а также представитель авиакомпании “SriLankan Airlines” И. Чернегова поздравили Главу Канцелярии Посольства с успешным завершением миссии и выразили признательность за поддержку, оказанную им Г-ном Гамаге, при исполнении ответственных заданий и поручений.
В своей ответной речи Г-н Лал Кумара Гамаге подвел итоги своей работы в России и выразил благодарность Его Превосходительству, Г-ну Послу за помощь и руководство, которые сыграли решающую роль в деле успешного завершения Г-ном Гамаге своих функций на посту Главы Канцелярии Посольства. Также Г-н Лал Кумара Гамаге поблагодарил ныне работающих сотрудников Посольства и коллег, закончивших свою деятельность в составе Миссии, за поддержку и сотрудничество.
Его Превосходительство, Г-н Посол вручил памятные сувениры Г-ну и Г-же Гамаге.
