First time Sri Lanka welcomes jewellery delegation. Russia and Sri Lanka have a strong relationship in military section, tourism sphere, tea trade and some other activities. Time has come for the jewellery as well.<br \/>\n\u201cJeweller-2\u201d Exhibition took place from 15 till 23 May 2009 in Sokolniki and Sri Lanka had a special delegation on such an event. Among the delegation were Mr. G.H. Ajith P. Perera, Acting Deputy Director General of the Sri Lanka National Gem &amp; Jewellery Authority, Mr. A.H. Chanaka Ellawala, Immediate Past Chairman of the Sri Lanka Gem &amp; Jewellery Association and the current Chairman of the Facets (the leading gem &amp; jewellery show in Sri Lanka) organizing committee of the Sri Lanka Gem &amp; Jewellery Association, Mr. E.
