Around 70 agents took part in the event. Workshop was attended by Etihad Airways.<br \/>\nThe Ambassador of Sri Lanka H.E. Udayanga Weeratunga told about the country, main itineraries, heritage, cuisine, visa formalities, informed participants about the current situation in Sri Lanka Tourism industry.<br \/>\nHe shared his personal experience and narrated island ancient legends to the participants. His speech was accompanied with a photo presentation of Sri Lanka.<br \/>\nThen Etihad Country Manager Russia Mrs. Natalia Gorunova and her assistants made a presentation of Etihad Airways. Small drawing took place afterwards and some presents from Etihad were handed over to lucky agents for their excellent knowledge of airlines services.<br \/>\nChief Development Officer of Spectrum travel company Mrs. Olga Shmeleva together with her assistant Ms. Maria Borisova informed agents about winter programs and hotels accordingly. Afterwards, small raffle was hold and lucky devils got presents from Spectrum, such as Ceylon tea, spices etc.<br \/>\nThe event was concluded with a Sri Lankan lunch and Ceylon tea ceremony. Agents feel some taste of Sri Lanka and got to know how to choose the best Ceylon tea.<br \/>\nEmbassy of Sri Lanka appreciates all parties for such an event and opens to any joint promotion opportunities.
