Sri Lanka Tourism promotion Bureau organized the \u201cSri Lanka Stand\u201d with support of Sri Lanka Embassy in Moscow and 14 Sri Lankan tour companies and hotels participated at the event.<br \/>\nH.E. the Ambassador Udayanga Weeratunga opened the Sri Lanka stand with lighting traditional oil lamp with other participants. Delivering the speech at the opening ceremony, Ambassador Weeratunga explained the current situation of tourism in Egypt and requested the support of all participants to attract more tourists from this region. It will be helped to achieve the government target which is attracting 2.5 million tourists per annum by 2016.<br \/>\nAlso on 17th March 2011, Ambassador Weeratunga &amp; Mrs. Weeratunga invited all Sri Lankan participants, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau officials and tour\/travel operators in Russia to participate special presentation and dinner at the Ambassador\u2019s residence.
